Villa Walton Gardens
Villa Walton is set in the quiet historic village of Walton in Matamata, part of the beautiful Waikato.
Villa Walton has been an integral part of the village since 1904. The family farming the property built it once the farm was established and providing a steady income.
The Villa now operates as a boutique luxury Bed & Breakfast and Wedding venue, and offers relaxed garden and Villa tours.
The original homestead was known in the area for the beautiful cottage gardens and specimen trees. There are some examples of a hundred plus year old Kauri, Copper Beech, Rimu, magnificent Kowhai, Magnolia trees which the Tui love to visit, and over 160 roses and thousands of both summer and winter bulbs.
