What Is a Micro Wedding?
A micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with 20 - 50 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding special and memorable but on a much smaller scale. Weddings events at Villa Walton are private affairs - your wedding party will have sole use of the venue for the whole day of the wedding and the morning after. Sound good! Ready to go micro? Options abound for your wedding. Everything is bespoke - we can do as much or as little as you like. Timings, ceremony location, you name it, we can sort it.
We can layout the tables and the settings to your preference.
The menu is completely yours to design (we'll help) and we have a wide range of canapes and h'ordeuvres for relaxed socialising after the wedding ceremony for guests (great to allow you time for those special photos), and catering for any special dietary requirements is not a problem.
Alcohol is BYO and so a massive saving in cost, but we can help you out with this too.
Wedding events at Villa Walton include two nights accommodation for up to 8 guests. As we are primarily an accommodation venue this is standard as we do not rent out rooms to 'others' while a wedding is in progress.
Wedding Venue. Villa Walton has a character 'shed' that is currently undergoing a refurbishment. It is a rustic venue but with all the modern conveniences. We also have a permanent marquee set up and we can arrange for further marquee of canvas Flys to be assembled. The Villa Walton gardens are beautiful all year round, but November is definitely the 'rose' month, July - August the Camellia months and September the Magnolia and bulbs month. Seasons can vary because of the weather but not by too much.
Accommodation. This includes two nights luxury accommodation for 8 people including 3 double suites inside Villa Walton and the bride and groom in our private cottage. This includes a full cooked breakfast and barista coffee each morning. It also includes all tables and chairs, cutlery and plates, table layout and basic (but nice) decorations. We also do name tags and other touches to personalise your day.
Catering for 50 guests. This includes quality pre dinner canapes and full buffet meal including three high quality mains choices (the most popular is Freshly smoked Salmon, Scotch fillet, and Ham on the bone) and covers off all corkage, glass hire and stuff like that.
If guests wish to have professional catering we have options available, and should you wish to use food trucks then we can organise these as well.
Alcohol and Refreshments – This will be BYO and we can help to organise, including returning unused quantities so you only pay for what you use.

Wedding Photographer, Flowers, Cake, Wedding Celebrant - we can help organise all of this for you. There is a fee for managing the event as we take it seriously and it takes a lot of time to do an excellent job.
