What Is a Micro Wedding?
A micro wedding is an intimate affair, typically with 10 - 40 guests. They still feature time-honored traditions that make a wedding special and memorable but on a much smaller scale. Weddings events at Villa Walton are private affairs - your wedding party will have sole use of the venue for the whole day of the wedding and the morning after.

Wedding Venue. Villa Walton has an amazing architectural glasshouse and character 'shed' that has been completely refurbished, insulated and wood lined for a great rustic feel. While a rustic venue it has all the modern conveniences.
In May 2023 we completed construction of our new architectural glasshouse as a wedding reception venue. We have already hosted numerous weddings and functions and the glasshouse, in combination with the 'shed' and gardens have proven a massive success.
The glasshouse structure is 12.8 x 4m in size, comfortably housing 40 guests. The new venue will allow complete weather proofing while still being connected to the beautiful gardens that surround the venue through six sets of French doors. The 4m high gable, electronic weather control system, and induction heating will ensure the right control of the temperature to maximise comfort whatever the season.
Gardens. The Villa Walton gardens are beautiful all year round, but November is definitely the 'rose' month, January - March Dahlia months, July - August the Camellia months and September the Magnolia and bulbs month. We definitely recommend Spring and early Summer, but March and April are popular too.
Accommodation. This includes two nights luxury accommodation for 8 people including 3 double suites inside Villa Walton and the bride and groom in our private cottage. This includes a full cooked breakfast and barista coffee each morning.
Catering for up to 40 guests. This includes quality pre dinner canapes and full buffet meal including three high quality mains choices (the most popular is Freshly smoked Salmon, Scotch fillet, and Ham on the bone) and covers off all corkage, glass hire and stuff like that.
If would prefer to have professional catering we have options available, and should you wish to use food trucks or other options then we can ensure they are well hosted.
Alcohol and Refreshments. This will be BYO and as such a great cost saving.
